The 200 g pre-feed paste bag is the secret to developing a lure into a siren song for rats. Place pea-sized dabs of this paste around your trapping site up to 100 feet away to help introduce the paste to the rats and mice. Rats are suspicious of new foods. That is why rats will smell the breath of other rats they meet to see what they are eating; the more widely spread the paste is, the more likely they will encounter it. If they are familiar with the paste when they discover your trap, they are more likely to explore it and be killed.

To apply, begin by cleaning up and eliminating any possible rodent food sources. Next, select areas of placement. Generally, these will be areas where rodents have been most active, such as along walls, inside cabinets, under appliances and in basements, attics or garages.
